Beach for everyone
Hospitality and accessibility have always gone hand in hand in Bibione. Even on the beach!
The wide stretch of fine sand is home to accessible beach establishments along the entire coastline.
Bibione Spiaggia is part of the Destination4All project created for the Bibione Live Consortium by Village for all V4A.
Beach services
- Ramps and walkways to allow access to the beach facilities and reach the various areas;
- Internal connecting paths between the different areas, made of wood and extending for about 18 km;
- Telephone reservation service – by calling 0431 439671 – for the beach spot adjacent to the main walkway, with an additional walkway added to make moving around easier;
- Availability of umbrellas equipped with flooring for wheelchairs, walkers and strollers.
- On request and available at all beach facilities, higher loungers than the standard (height 47 cm);
- Beach wheelchairs to allow entry into the water (Job model and Sand & Sea with front caster wheel), available free of charge at all ticket offices;
- Play areas with inclusive and certified playground equipment (at Via Regolo and at Bibione Thermae);
- Accessible restrooms for people with disabilities, equipped with acoustic/visual alarm systems and grab bars;
- 7 roll-out walkways providing access to the shoreline, located in the following areas: Faro, Spiaggia di Pluto, between CORSO DEL SOLE D and CORSO DEL SOLE E, between ACQUARIO F and SAGITTARIO C, between TERME 3C and TERME 2E, between INTERNAZIONALE A and INTERNAZIONALE B, between ADRIATICO F and ADRIATICO G;
- Changing cabins dedicated to people with disabilities, equipped with a bench and three coat hooks at different heights;
- Extensive first aid system (6 medical stations) with equipment ensuring prompt assistance in case of need, including defibrillation units and trained first aid staff for immediate support.
- Accessible pedal boat, equipped with a hand-operated pedal system. The new boat maintains the two traditional seating positions, one of which includes a special pedal mechanism that generates movement using the arms.
